Riot Games renews its logo by presenting it in a blog post and implemented on social media and on the company’s website
Riot Games joins a wave of sports-related companies that have recently updated their brands.
Organizations such as Virtus.pro and Dignitas introduced new logos at the end of last year and the ESL tournament organizer debuted the brand update in February.
The updated Riot logo separates the punch and the company name, which were combined in the previous version. The blog post states that this decision was made so that the punch was recognizable if used without the accompanying name. In addition, the developer refused to comment further on updating the logo.
With the latest specifications and motivations, they will be communicated at a later date, for the time being the company will predict a hybrid logo that will still undergo changes in the future.
