PGL and Make.TV, together to increase the spectators of the events even out of season

The Make.TV distribution company has formalized a collaboration with PGL (esport event organizing company), with the aim of monetizing from replicas and increasing fan engagement

Make.TV will use its cloud-based Playout planning system to perform retransmissions on the PGL Twitch channel with advertising spots.

The advertising breaks will also be inserted within the flows but the terms of the agreement have not yet been fully disclosed.

PGL based in Romania, hosts world tournaments for a variety of games, including Dota 2 and FIFA, as well as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Hearthstone, and PLAYERUNKNOWN ‘S BATTLEGROUNDS.

Based in Seattle, Make.TV collaborated with Mixer in April to broadcast tournaments in Microsoft stores, as well as with ESL to distribute ESL One content on various platforms, most recently for ESL One Mumbai.
