Mediapro has acquired the remaining shares of the Liga de Videojuegos Profesional (LVP) Fandroid, assuming full control of the company

Mediapro completes the fusion of Fandroid with total transactions of $ 24.6 million.

LVP runs the Spanish Superliga Orange League, which includes, among others, League of Legends and Call of Duty.

The Spanish media and communications media group Mediapro has acquired the remaining 50% of the capital of Fandroid, the parent company of the Spanish export organizer, Liga de Videojuegos Profesional (LVP).

Mediapro acquired for the first time a majority stake in Fandroid in October 2016 for an amount of € 4.6 million ($ 5.1 million dollars).

LVP runs the Spanish Superliga Orange League, which includes competitions for games like League of Legends, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Clash Royale.

According to Palco23, Fandroid has achieved a turnover of € 6.5 million ($ 7.3 million USD) for 2017, data available for the most recent year and registered 28.6 million total viewers in 2018, with an increase by 64% compared to 2017.
