LVP: spanish language channel for VALORANT

LVP (MEDIAPRO Group) has reached an agreement with Riot Games to become the official channel in Spanish for the new VALORANT.

International competitive structure in all of Europe and which has been launched on February 4th running throughout 2021.

The new VALORANT structure, dubbed the Champions Tour, consists of three phases:

Challengers, Masters and Champions.

Each Challenger involves a series of tournaments open to European teams and a series of playoffs, the winners of which can then access the VALORANT Masters.

In this phase of the competition, the best teams from the region will be mixed and will be competing for a place in the VALORANT Champions tournament.

This final phase of the competitive structure will be held at the end of 2021 and will reveal who is to become the first ever world champion of the tactical FPS game.

Gaming fans can follow the entire VALORANT competitive structure in Spanish via the Twitch channel of LVP,

who will be bringing to bear its wealth of experience in storytelling and content creation at the service of the project, as well as its technical crew and commentators.

Among those presenting the tournaments are names like LVP’s Ulises Prieto, Sergio Ferra and Eugenio “Kam1” Mongi, as well as the occasional surprise to be revealed in the coming weeks.

“We’re grateful to Riot Games for choosing us as the official channel for this international VALORANT adventure.

Here at LVP, our commitment to endowing this project with our production values, as well as our greatest efforts and passion for the sector.

We have been the official channel in Spanish for the League of Legends LEC for many years now and it’s an honor to have been chosen to become the official channel for VALORANT”,

explains Jordi Soler, CEO of LVP.

“2020 was already showing signs that the competitive VALORANT is here to stay, but it’s really in 2021 where we’ll begin to see the consolidation of the competitive structure and where everything will take on a much greater dimension:

we’re not only going to discover the best teams from each region through a series of free-to-play recurring competitions.

By year’s end, we’ll also be crowning the VALORANT world champion.

Here at Riot, our goal is to bring the best competition in the world to our Spanish-speaking public, and we couldn’t have imagined anyone better than LVP to cover the eagerly awaited VALORANT Champions Tour”,

explained Alberto Delgado, Senior Brand Manager of VALORANT Spain for Riot Games.

The first LVP broadcast, corresponding to VALORANT Challengers, will take place on February 5th, 6th and 7th and can be followed online from 5:00 p.m. via LVP’s Twitch channel.
