Russian Esports Federation (RESF) with the support of Epic Sports Events will hold the first RMR tournament of 2021 for CIS and Oceania.
EPIC League CIS RMR & EPIC League Oceania RMR will be held in online format. The prize fund of the CIS region will be $40,000, and $10,000 goes to Oceania.
Russian-language broadcast of the tournament will be conducted by RuHub studio.
The open qualifiers for the CIS region will be held on May 8 on FACEIT.
Closed qualifiers stage will be held from May 9 to May 12. The group stage will be held according to the Swiss system for 16 teams from 12 to 23 May. The 8-team Double Elimination playoffs will take place between May 24 and May 30.
Invites to the group stage of the tournament of CIS region are:
- Natus Vincere (1/2 place in the CIS RMR rating);
- Team Spirit (1/2 place in the CIS RMR rating);
- Nemiga Gaming (3 place in the CIS RMR rating);
- Virtus.pro (4 place in the CIS RMR rating);
- Gambit;
- Forze;
- EPG Family;
- Trident.
Invitations to the closed qualification of the tournament in the CIS region will be announced later.
The Oceania open qualifiers will be held on May 23, with the play-off stage scheduled for May 24-30. Details of the Oceania tournament will be announced in early May.
