Kit Kat announces its entry into the eSport market

Kit Kat makes its esport entry official, sponsoring the Valiant, Plus Overwatch League’s First Rivalry Weekend in Los Angeles

Nestlé’s Kit Kat brand (licensed by Hershey’s in the US) signed its first export partnership as official sponsor of the Overwatch League team, The Valiant

The Valiant will work with Kit Kat to produce original digital and social content during the 2019 season.

The non-endemic sponsorship will also include the naming rights of Rivalry Weekend, part of the Overwatch League Homestand series, 24-25 August.

In addition to the planned activities, Kit Kat Team Lounges will offer exclusive seating areas for the fans of each respective team.

On May 1, the parent company Valort Immortals, LLC in Los Angeles was renamed Immortals Gaming Club (ICG) and closed a round of financing for the B series for a total of $ 30 million.

The newly acquired Gamers Club will continue to operate in Brazil as a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) community hub with the intention of expanding into different games and demographic data outside of Brazil.
