McLaren has just announced that his eSports Shadow Project initiative will return with a second season.
The goal is always the same: to find the best digital driver or “sim racer” through a series of titles and hire him in the McLaren team. In July the sim racers will be able to qualify for the Shadow Project through titles like Forza Motorsport 7 (for consoles), Real Racing 3 (on mobile) and rFactor2 (for PC).
In December the competition will return to Woking, UK, at the McLaren Technology Center where the finals of the competition will be played following the same system as the first season.
