Tournament organiser ESL has named technology company LG as an official partner of ESL Mobile Open presented by AT&T‘s third season.

LG is only the second sponsor of the open, joining founding sponsor AT&T.

Paul Brewer, Senior Vice President of Brand Partnerships at ESL discussed the partnership in a release: “We continue to believe in and take an innovative approach to the mobile esports landscape and LG is the perfect partner to help ESL advance that. LG is a terrific example of a global brand making its mark in esports and improving the experience for both players and fans.”

The partnership will see finalists for the season use LG smartphones while competing in the finals, which are set to take place at DreamHack Atlanta on November 15th. LG will advertise its latest smartphone in a ‘Hardware Highlight’ segment.

Now in its third season of competition, ESL Mobile Open now includes all of North America, with over 324,000 participants competing during the second season. Season 3 will see players compete across Asphalt 9: Legends, PUBG Mobile, and Clash of Clans.
