The third season starts tomorrow with a showmatch at the IEM Expo and the presentation of the 2019 prize pool, the highest ever achieved in the competition
ESL, the world’s largest export company, and Oculus, the Facebook VR team that creates world-class VR hardware and software, has announced the VR League: Season 3 will kick off with a showmatch on March 3rd. The gameplay will officially start on March 24th to compete for a $ 250,000 prize pool.
The opening showmatch for VR League: Season 3 will be among the finalists of last season during Intel® Extreme Masters Katowice at the IEM Expo, located next to the Spodek Arena. On-site fans can watch the game at the Ballroom Stage, and more details on Season 3 will be unveiled live.
This season will also include Echo Combat of Ubisoft’s Ready At Dawn and Space Junkies and will have weekly cups in Europe and North America and will culminate in an exciting Grand Finals event offline at the Haymarket Theater in Leicester, UK.
